Francoise Night Shirt - Light Linen - White

The Francoise Night Shirt features a minimal collar, front bib with sweet subtle gathering, and a full-length sleeve with a buttoned cuff. Drawing inspiration from a French farmer's smock we found in a flea market in Paris. The original dates back to the early 20th Century, and captures a timeless essence that we wanted to bring back to life. This long shirt style was popular for rural agricultural workers throughout France for much of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Crafted meticulously from 100% European linen, the night shirt stands as a testament to quality and comfort.

Our linen styles are made from premium European linen (grown in France, Belgium & the Netherlands), pre-washed, and ready to wear on arrival. Some are lightly pressed - within no time the fabric will soften with wear, crinkles and wrinkles will come naturally, giving it that stunning unironed look that we have all come to love. If you would like to speed up this process, we recommend popping it in the washing machine, following the washing instructions found on your garments care label, and skipping any ironing.
